4-Part Mini Series on Biologic Intelligence
Fountainhead News: Apr 28, 2017
It’s been quite the interesting week in the Biologic Intelligence world. DARPA is requesting researching to build, over the next 4 years, what we spent the last 6 in the lab building.
And more people inside industry, from Tier 1 automakers working on self-driving, to overseas energy companies are starting to talk about the “limits of deep learning”. We will never have all the data to describe every possible situation. That is the weakness.
To that end, one of our newest contributors wrote a wonderfully written and well-researched series on Biologic Intelligence that we’ve published over the last few days here on Humanizing Tech that we wanted to show you, if you’re curious.
- Part I: The Mind of Matter, Delving into Consciousness
- Part II: The Hardware of Us, A Forest of Neurons
- Part III: The Biology of Machines, Neuromorphic Computing
- Part IV: Transistor, Meet Neuron
Let the warmth of the scientific method light your way this weekend.

P.S., don’t forget to check out National Geographic’s Genius, the new TV show directed by Ron Howard on the life of Einstein. We can relate to wanting to study the Physics that we are interested in and leave Zoology for those who are interested in that.
